Microneedling and Mesotherapy

Microneedling

Microneedling has a long history of being an effective treatment to improve skin quality, texture, and firmness by stimulating the production of collagen, minimizing scars, and reducing pore size and stretch marks.

The Rosenthal Clinic employs different types of microneedling devices including DermaPen4, U225 Meso Gun, and both Infini and Fractora with the added benefit of Radio-Frequency for tightening.

The process involves making tiny, rapidly-healing punctures to the skin in a controlled manner. These micro wounds are used as channels to deliver skin-boosting nutrients for optimal results in collagen stimulation.

Treatments are provided in multiples of three or more in monthly intervals. Meanwhile, we recommend an annual maintenance treatment to maintain the benefits.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is the injection of small amounts of Hyaluronic Acid, multivitamins, and amino acids (or PRPs) to stimulate collagen and improve hydration, tone, and texture of the skin.  As a result, this treatment can restore a youthful glow, improve tone and elasticity, reduce superficial lines and wrinkles, and protect your skin from premature aging.

Mesotherapy is ideal for the scalp as well as treatments for thinning hair. In addition, the face, neck, chest, and hands are all treatable areas.

A series of mesotherapy treatments can rejuvenate the skin resulting in plump, hydrated, radiant, and firmer looking skin. We recommend a package of 5 treatments every 1-2 weeks, then single maintenance treatments every 3-6 months to maintain results.

Optimize Microneedling and Mesotherapy Treatments

The use of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) can result in optimization of microneedling and mesotherapy treatments.

Conditions

Large Pores

Decreased elasticity is the main cause of enlarged pores. To help control oils and encourage the pores to stay clean, we recommend using BHA (Salicylic Acid). We also recommend a custom daily skin care regime. This could include retinoids, antioxidants and growth factors to keep the skin tight and...

Stretch Marks

In areas of stress on the tissues, breakdown of the skin’s collagen and elastin result in stretch marks. For example, during periods of rapid growth or weight gain. Stretch marks commonly appear on the buttocks and upper thighs of adolescent girls, over the breasts and abdomen in pregnancy, and over...

Acne

Acne is a condition that results from the combination of excessive sebum production, the plugging of pores, and the inflammatory action of skin bacteria. Features of acne include blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, pustules, and cysts which may result in permanent scarring and skin discoloration. Above all, it is important to get...

Acne scarring

Acne scarring is the result of inadequate treatment of active acne. Eventually, it tends to become more noticeable as our skin ages.
Consequently, acne scarring can appear in the form of skin discoloration, deep pits(ice-pick scars), rolling scars, broader depressions, and thin flat or lumpy scars.

Melasma, Freckles, Sun Spots

A brown spot is due to changes in pigmentation. A solar lentigo - also known as a liver spot or sun spot - appears as a brown spot on the skin that is darker than the surrounding skin. It is due to sun exposure and is most common in areas...

Crow’s feet

Crow's feet are dynamic wrinkles that are most apparent when the facial muscles are smiling or the eyes are squinting. These lines radiating from the corners of the eyes can be one of the earliest signs of age-related facial changes. A deterioration in the quality of the skin, such as...

Lax Skin

Lax skin (loose sagging skin) along with folds and wrinkles on the face and body typically can be the cause of the aging process or sun exposure. In addition, rapid loss of weight can also result in lax skin. There are a number of Lax skin treatments available in Victoria...

Sun damage

Sun damage is not part of the natural aging process associated with changes to the skin. Instead, it is the accumulated effect of exposure to the sun. This can result in brown pigmentation, melasma, broken blood vessels, dehydration, thinner skin, fine lines, enlarged pores, skin laxity, and even skin cancer.

Hands

Turn back the "hands of time". Unless you wear gloves at all times, your hands will show the telltale signs of aging.  Age related changes to the hands include brown spots, dehydration, thinned and sun damaged skin, as well as the loss of fat - making bones, tendons, and veins...

Dry or Rough Skin

The appearance of dry or rough skin is due to the irregular shedding of the cells of the upper part of the skin (epidermis).  As we age, dead cells tend to ‘clump up’ rather than being evenly shed. The skin looks dry and rough because it no longer reflects light...
