BOTOX Therapeutic®

Botox Therapeutic treatment proves to be an effective treatment for tension headaches, migraines, neck and back pains. Both Health Canada and the FDA approve this treatment.

When you experience muscle spasms, it is because your nerve cells are sending signals directly to your muscles. BOTOX® works by blocking these signals that cause your muscles to become overactive and tense up.

BOTOX Therapeutic can also be an effective treatment to prevent excessive sweating. This has been approved to treat the symptoms of severe sweating when medicines used on the skin do not work well enough.

To help control sweating, we inject BOTOX Therapeutic into the affected areas . This temporarily blocks the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. Subsequently, when the sweat glands don’t receive chemical signals, the severe sweating stops.

If your physician has recommended Botox Therapeutic treatment, book a consultation at Rosenthal Clinic in Victoria to learn about treatments available to you.
